Description of the  today’s Word of God

Today is the fourth Sunday of lent in the liturgical  year year A. The theme of today’s word of God is that Jesus is healing a blind  man who later becomes  the  missionary to proclaim the Good news that he received from Jesus.

Jesus is able to heal external and internal eyes.

Jesus is the one who is able to heal both eyes like internal eyes and  external eyes. The doctors can only heal your external eyes, but Jesus as God  is able to heal your inner eyes which is more important as  your external eyes are important for you.

If you cannot experience God and humanity in your heart, your inner eyes are blind. If your inner eyes are blind your external eyes will not give you any  divine nature for you.

How to understand that you are blind?

You are not blind externally  but may be be blind internally. How to understand and  identify that you are blind internally? Internal blindness comes through following evilness in our life.

If you look at the Word of God you will understand that you will follow certain types of evil behaviors  in your life if your are really blind internally.

The evil force that is the Satan will make your hear dark that you will not experience light within your self still you come our of that terrible darkness. If you are blind internally you will follow the dark force’s behavior in your life.

Galatians 5:16-26

If you are blind …

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

If you are not blind …

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
